I didn't answer (I refuse to answer any calls I don't know/recognise). Voicemail left (not real human) saying I had to ring back urgently so I wouldn't be arrested.
Received an automated message on answering from this number, told to call back or a baliff would appear at my address demanding payment of a tax debt. Complete scam.
Got a call today, asking me for my first name? Then for my cc details so they could refund me, claiming to be the ATO. When I queried this he got aggressive and told me I'd have to wait another 4 years to receive the refund and hung up.
They said they were the Investigations and Refunds office of the ATO. Seriously they are scammers, nice Indian accent with kids in the background. I asked him where he was in Canberra and he gave me my own address!!!
Scam, calls me to inform me a police officer tried to hand me a check at my address but I wasn't there - so as a last chance to get my $1k tax refund I needed to give them my information and bank details.
Got aggressive when I gave them my name and ask them to validate their claims, threatened to cancel my refund before I hung up on them.
Received a call from this number apparently the ATO and thy have a refund for me and required my credit card number to send it to me. I said that's weird as you don't ever process it via card and should have my bank details anyway.
They hung up which was a shame as I was looking forward to annoying the shot out of them.

Scamm, spam, they call me this morning about taxation issues warning, after few while I call the number back, bad connection, far and not clear voice from some one her english accent is sooooooo bad.
