I am so pleased I searched this number and viewed the previous comments - how disgusting that I received a phone message saying that I owe money to the ATO and the matter is so serious that I know will be arrested! How dare they!

Scam call. This is not the ATO, do not pay any money.
Scam call telling me I had to pay $2500 (owed due to a miscalculation in my taxes) by the end of the day or else I would be arrested. Quite convincing at the time.. Iater confirmed w. ATO that this was a scam call.
