Based on other reports, I answered the call but there was no one on the line. I subsequently hung up.
Called 23/8 prentending to be Commonwealth Bank checking whether I approved a large transfer of funds. I don't have any accounts with CBA but waited for them to come on, however, they hung up immediately.
I missed the call from this number, but the voicemail I received was a robocall stating that I had missed an important call from the Australian government. It prompted me to press buttons for either English or Chinese translation and had a slight Chinese accent. Ultimately, I found it to be unsolicited and quickly deleted it. Another annoying call from Telstra!

Just got called this number last night. Hung up on them first thing since it looked like a scam.
They left an automated sounding message as follows:

So yeah, run of the mill scare tactic scam to phish for personal info.
