Automated voice claimed to be calling from Amazon, at that point I hung up as there is no way it's from Amazon as I haven't bought anything through them for 3 months.
I recognized this call as a scam because it was an automated voice. Amazon will not call you directly unless you have contacted them first.
The caller hung up as soon as my voicemail picked up.
This number appears to be suspicious, originating from Coffs Harbour. I did not answer the call but returned it using a private number. An American female voice on the recording stated that this phone number is "not in use." It is evident that this was a spam call!
I don't know who rang as I didn't answer after I read the reviews about the number I know it was a fake number.
Got a call this morning from Strange Spoofed Number 0256120422. No Doubt from a Criminal, Fraudulent, Scamming, Call Center!
I advise extreme caution with this unlisted number, as it most likely belongs to cyber criminals who are using spoofed numbers. I did not recognize the number, so I let it ring out without answering or recording a message.
After calling the number back, I heard a recorded message that stated, "The number you have dialed is not in use."
Scummy scammers!!!
