Received a call from this number, where the caller, with a strong Indian accent stated that someone called Alan from California had hacked my internet address, where he has logged onto my Pay Pal account, using $299.99.99 to purchase gift cards.
Mr Indian further stated that he worked for pay pal and wanted to help me... Bullshit Mahatma.
When I told him that he was a scammer, and that he didn't work for pay pal, he quickly hung up.
I received a voice-to-text message stating, "$299.99 will be debited from your account. If you wish to cancel this transaction, press one. To claim your refund, please follow the instructions."
I received an automated message stating that I would be charged $299.99 related to PayPal. I'm certain this is a scam call.
