Robot voice saying it was eBay and my account was being billed $247, press 1 to pay.2 to stop payment.3 to speak to operator, so I pressed 3 and it hung up, I rang it back and a male Indian answered and I called him a scammer, he kept saying he was not a scammer and was from eBay then apologised for calling me and hung up.
Asking got 299$ sound like a bullshit scam for PayPal.
This was a robocall. I heard the word PayPal mentioned, which raised my suspicions. I hung up immediately and blocked the number to avoid further contact.
I received a missed call from that number and it’s left a talk to text message. Thanku for shopping with pay pal this is a confirmation call from pay pal as we have received…. that’s all that was said before it cut off. Gotta be scammers!!!
