I received a pop-up message on my computer claiming to be from Microsoft, stating that a trojan virus had infected my machine, along with a request to call this number.

Please be cautious with this number as it is involved in a scam. The callers claim to be from Microsoft and will take control of your screen while using a foreign language that is not typically western. They will ask for your Microsoft ID and encourage you to log into your online banking while they are still connected to your computer. If you see any suspicious prompts on your screen, disconnect from the internet and shut down your computer immediately for security.
