Scam

I received a recorded message claiming to be a PayPal scam. I hung up immediately and then blocked the number to avoid any further issues.

N
Nock
Spam

I got a call from a number stating that my internet connection is slow and claiming to be from Telstra NBN. This is false as I do not have a NBN connection.

W
Weatherall
Scam

I have had calls from numerous 02 numbers- which don’t get answered.

This number left a generated message claiming it was PayPal.

‘A request for $299.39 had been made and would be debited from the account.. To cancel- press one or call the number back’.

Not real, so it was easily ignored.

R
Rahaman
Scam

I received a recorded message from someone claiming to be from PayPal, stating that there was a transaction for $299 on my account that required my approval. It's quite interesting because I don’t even have a PayPal account, indicating that this is a scam.
