About This Record
This page forms part of the Reverseau public safety intelligence database, which aggregates community-reported telecommunications safety information across Australia.
Records update automatically as new reports are submitted. Records may exist prior to receiving community reports in order to support proactive telecommunications safety monitoring and future reporting.
Reverseau maintains this database as a continuously updated public safety dataset designed to support telecommunications risk awareness across Australia. Reverseau does not determine liability, intent, or identity. Records reflect aggregated community-submitted signals only.

The caller claims to be from Telstra and says there has been an increase in your internet data usage, your data is being used by another party and or there is a problem with your internet connection. The caller tries to get you to a command prompt presumably to gain remote access to your computer/device. NOT from Telstra, HANG UP!
I live in South Australia and over the past few weeks I've been getting missed calls at home from a number similar to this.02 4658 8885, at different times during the day while I'm at work. I was actually home for today to receive the call from 02 4658 4385. It is from what sounds like an office in the background, and the male on the other end of the line sounds middle eastern and claims to be calling from Telstra. I told him my provider isn't Telstra and he immediately hung up on me.
Claiming to be frm telstra internet.
