No message left. Another scammer, another number blocked.

The caller did not leave a message, which is typical of scammers. I've blocked this number after identifying it as a potential scam.

I received a call from this number today, but they did not leave a message. I have chosen to block the number due to my suspicion of unwanted solicitation.

This number called me and did not leave any message. I suspect it might be a scam call, so I am assuming it is best to avoid it.

I answered an automated call where it took only seconds for a voice, seemingly an AI named Christie, to respond. They claimed to have gotten my number from reputable sources and asked to delete my information. They also mentioned they would suppress my contact details, although I never provided them.

I did not receive a message after the call. There have been multiple calls from various numbers that end abruptly without leaving any voicemail, which leads me to believe they are from scammers.

I'm receiving calls from typical scam or spam callers, either claiming to represent Charity Prime or pretending to be from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

The caller hung up immediately after I answered. When I tried to call the number back, it connected to a recorded message claiming to be for a charity. I considered this suspicious and have blocked the number.

I returned the call because I missed it earlier, and the person on the line claimed they were from Charity Prime. They requested my phone number and email address to opt-out of their communications. This seems like a scam.

I answered the call, as I was expecting a different call. The person on the line claimed that I had been removed from a conference call, which seemed suspicious to me. I also received another call from the same number, but with the last digit changed (02) 4407 0022, although I didn’t pick up that time.

I did not receive any message from this number, but I've received multiple calls from various numbers today. To avoid potential spam, I decided to block this caller.

I keep getting calls from unfamiliar interstate numbers nearly every day. Every time I check their details, they turn out to be scams or nuisance calls. I really wonder how much longer we, the public, will have to tolerate this before our politicians urge telecommunications companies to take action!

I got a call from this number this morning, but I let it go to voicemail. They hung up without leaving a message. Based on previous reports, it appears to be a scam call. A quick search revealed the number is associated with Batemans Bay.

I received an unsolicited call from this number, but I chose not to answer since I did not recognize it.

I just received a call from this number, which appears to be another scam attempt. It's frustrating that telecom companies can't seem to detect and block these scam calls. Given that my caller ID shows a specific number, it seems like they should be able to intercept reported scam numbers on the Telstra network. It’s concerning that others might be fooled by these scams.

Got a phone call from this number yesterday from "James Anderson" - guy with an accent. Advising me to call back on the above number re a tax fraud committed in my name. Didn't bother!

What a scam artist!!! So glad I googled this number. This James Anderson is an idiot. Please ignore him and report him to the authorities!!!

Hopefully the AFP will shut this scam artist down.

Hi everyone please be carefull guys. I got a call twice today from this idot James Andrewson I think he has not got work to do... So just ignore this idot.....

Fraud and fake. An American/Filipino sounding man starts talking right away, in fact will cut you off when saying hello. Tax avoidance threat blah blah blah. Do not give info!!!!!

James Anderson from the Tax Office left a message on my mobile so I called it back. The mobile number they called is a company phone so the person they were after no longer works with us as they are deceased. I told him that it was a scam and then he started to say revolting things about "boobs" etc so I told him to F*ck off and hung up. Complete SCAM so block this number and don't waste your time calling back.

I received a few calls from this number today, they have left a message. James Anderson with an Indian accent saying that I have a matter of tax avoidance and tax issue. Tried to call the number back and the answering machine said that their mail box is full! Lucky I read the other messages! Scam!!!

Just got a call from this number saying a James Anderson tax complaint, legal issues if I don't call this number back, pre recorded message. Called the tax office to notify : SCAM some people would get totally stressed by these calls.

Received a call saying "The reason for the call is just to inform you that we received a legal complaint under your name, just regarding your tax avoidance tax fraud issue.".

This is a SCAM. The ATO advises to be aware of phone scams.

Got a call today from the great English bowler, James Anderson.

Got the same spiel as the others, 'call back before the Commonwealth issues a law suit'.

I called back a few times for the line wasn't stable and dropped out.

Couldn't understand the thick Irish accent, and was a total wank. Rude as.

Just received a call from this number. It seems that I've been a bad boy, due to Tax avoidance, and a warrant is out for my immediate arrest. I hope I'll have sufficient time to have a shower and change my clothes prior to my arrest.

I find it both hard to believe that this 'phone number is still active and and no obvious steps are underway to deal with this scam.

I got call today (I think is pre-recorded messege as you actually can't talk to person) the messege went strait on, without anyone asking me anything. The person name apparently is James Anderson (weird accent) claim I have to call back as I will be taking to court for tax fraud. TOTAL FRAUD AND SCAM (blocked this number and carry on having my coffee).

Received a call today stating they would be taking the matter to the commonwealth court!!? If I did not call them back today. mmmmmmmm.

Called me this morning, claim himself is from taxation office for a report of tax fraud on me, before they issue a warrant, I will need to call back this number... What a stupid scam.... Normally tax office or other government department is using "No Caller ID".

I got a voicemail of a james anderson claiming to be from the taxation office. Said he would issue a warrant for my arrest if I didn't call back. Good luck champ.

Just got a call from this number demanding I pay tax owed from failing to lodge tax returns. I'm on disability pension for the last 8 years and have NOT had to pay tax in that time. Definitely a scam trying to get personal information or cash.

This call is claiming to be Australian taxation department and asking people to pay $10.000.00.
