I also got a message left saying there was a warrant out for my arrest - lol - bugger off you scumbags.
A recorded message in an American accent saying that there was a warrant out for my arrest for fraud and tax evasion. I hung up so didn't hear the rest of the message. As if the government would contact people using a recorded message to tell them there was a warrant out for their arrest for fraud and tax evasion they'd never even been accused of. Terrible.

I got multiple calls from this number as well. Reported to the ATO as a scam number. Claimed Ive been dodging taxes and when I said I don't pay taxes cause I don't work got asked how I got money then. Obviously a scsm if they don't know what centrelink is.
Rang claiming to be Australian Tax office. Started abusing him before he morphed from talking in English to shouting back at me in some indecipherable language. The more you ring this number and hassle these people the less chance they have to scam others.

It's a scam. They wanted to verify my address saying some arrest warrant was issued against me. They already had my name & number. I said I was going to report them and then they yelled abuse.

I had a missed call from this number. They left a voice mail saying I am wanted for tax invasion and tax fraud and there is a warrant out for your arrest, I believe it to be a scam, I will not be returning their call.
