Called me but left no messages. Luckily my phone already showed the number as scam number.
These scammers appear to have acquired a new set of phone numbers. They use '43' at the beginning to make it look like a local call from the Central Coast. Numbers I recommend blocking include 4311 5225 and 4311 5222.
I have received three calls from this number over the past few days, but they have never left a message.
I keep receiving calls from this number daily, and it's really annoying. It's definitely a scam call.
This seems to be an overseas scam call where the caller claims to represent an Australian charity called "The Kindness Project." They were very persistent and had a strong Indian accent while using an anglicised Australian name. I'm uncertain of their legitimacy, so I recommend avoiding any donations to them.
I received a call from an unknown number, but they did not leave a message. If it were important, they should have left a message so I could return the call.
When I tried to call back this number, I was greeted by a recorded message in Chinese from a female voice saying, 'Hello, we do apologize…’ I have noticed that this scam operates using various phone numbers from different Australian regions, and it is becoming quite exhausting. I really wish more could be done to stop these calls.
I'm really frustrated with these annoying scam calls. I keep blocking these spam numbers, but they continually change to different ones. I believe telecommunications companies should be held accountable for allowing scammers to obtain new numbers so frequently. As consumers, we deserve better protection for our numbers. I missed several calls from this number. When I called back—using a PABX system that they cannot return calls to—I got a recorded message. It stated that they had no representatives available to take my call, but they might contact me later. This seemed clearly like a scam to me, especially since others reported it was linked to a group called the Kindness Project. Their actual name is Project Kindness, which makes me suspicious that this is a fraudulent call.
A call claiming to be from the "Kindness Project" came through, which I suspect is an obvious scam. I decided to talk over the caller, playfully asking him to be kind and give me money instead. Eventually, he stopped trying to engage with me, suggesting he knew he was scamming.
Being on the do-not-call register seems pointless, as these persistent scammers continue to disrupt people's lives with spam calls despite the rules.
I answered a call from this number by mistake - it is the first scam/spam call I have received with a 43 prefix, so I presumed therefore that it was from a local safe caller. After the usual clicks and pauses, a foreign accented voice asked if I had time for a survey, I forget who for, to which I replied no and hung up. Got a bad feeling and bet 100% it was a full on scam.
I answered a call and heard a recorded voice introducing herself as "Christy from MyCharity Survey," asking how I was doing. I hung up, and they called again the next day with the same message.
When I answered the call, there was no one on the line. I tried to call back and got a voicemail message indicating that it was from overseas. This appears to be a junk call.
Did not answer no message left.
