I received a scam call that prompted me to press 1 for Australian and press 2 for Chinese. The call's origin was indicated as Kiama.
The call featured an English-speaking individual with an Asian accent, claiming to be from Commonwealth Bank. They warned me about suspicious activity occurring on my account.
They called and I left it to ring out, they then sent me a voice mail so I listened and basically they told me my data plan was loosing service today and that I needed to pay $30,000 to have it fixed. At this moment I knee it was 100% a scam call and searched the number to find this website, thanks, Ellah xxx.
The call consisted of recorded messages in both English and Chinese. It was a complete waste of my time, and I found it unhelpful.
I received a call from this number where the caller claimed to be Chinese scammers discussing a fictitious epidemic. Their intention seems dubious.
I received a scam call displaying a local number, which is concerning as it appeared to be legitimate.
I received a call from this number, and the caller claimed that my phone number would be deleted in two hours. This raised alarm bells for me, and I believe this is either a scam or an unnecessary threat.
Auto robot call scam.
I received a call with a robotic voice claiming that my Vodafone contract details are incomplete. This is definitely a scam.
This number is a scam it’s a robotic voice that tells you your phone will be disconnected soon. Very weird I didn’t say anything and blocked the number straight away.
