This was a scam call in which the caller spoke in broken English. It seemed to be a phishing attempt to obtain personal information.
Scam or phishing 100%. Do not answer this call.
I strongly believe this call is a scam or phishing attempt. I advise against answering if you receive a call from this number.
This number is from a local area near KIAM, NSW. When I called back, I was greeted with a voice recording saying "welcome to experienced technologies," but I did not stay on the line.
I received a call claiming there was an "academic emergency." I find that very dubious and suspect it's a scam.
Chinese. Scam.
Scam, Automated voice claiming to be Vodaphone. I hung up.
I was contacted by a scam call with a message that was difficult to understand due to poor English.
An automated voice message informed me, as a 37-year-old office worker, that I have an “academic emergency.” This is humorous because I’ve already completed high school, so it’s clear that this is a nonsensical message.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
