This is very clearly a scam. I played along with their scam because I was bored at work. The phone number called me and said that they were from Vodaphone and that my account had been selected to receive a huge promotion - I just needed to provide my account name and PIN to claim it. They kept trying to reassure me that they were from Vodaphone by repeating my phone number. They said that they would send me a text to my phone number etc. Eventually, I asked the scammer how they could prove that they were from Vodaphone and if they could confirm my details. The scammer started getting impatient and eventually hung up on me. Obviously not Vodaphone - don't give them your information.
