Whomever is using this phone is trying to scam people pretending they are from the National Broadband Network. They claim they need you to book an appointment for their technicians to change over your National Broadband Network to Fibre from copper wire. They tell you a technician will turn up with the equipment and all you have to do is to pay shipping costs, but your card has to be checked by Australia Post to verify it is not a scam care (how ironic), they cannot take cash because of Covid. Of course when they get your card, they will ring friends pretending to be Australia Post and then you would have to give them all the card details. They also threaten to cut off your landline if you do not agree to this. Do not fall for this one. They are a bit better than the usual scammers as they are in Australia and sound genuine.
