The caller, who spoke with an overseas accent, claimed to be from Vodafone and wanted to offer me discounts on their plans. Since I am not a Vodafone customer, I ended the call.

Scam

Pretty sure it’s a scammer.

This is an interstate call from where I don’t generally deal with.

It’s Saturday afternoon and the only major companies that I would possibly with interstate,, such as insurance, etc, not operating.

At this time. Around about the same time as I got a call from this, I also got another call from a different state, again not my own. That seal the deal for me that this is a scammer.

About This Report

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of (02) 4009 3985 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
