Never leave a message, I rang them back and number not in service.
The number is definitely suspicious. I've had several calls from this number. Now blocked.
I received a smug voicemail and after looking up the number, I discovered it is associated with a scam operation.
Missed a call from this number— they left a realistic AI voice message from 'Mick Simmons' of Apex Marketing Solutions. Pretty impressed with the lifelike tone.. There were human inflections and pauses in the speech (though it still sounded robotic) and the voicemail even included 30 seconds of 'ambient office noise' at the end of his speaking to make the recording seem more human. The phone number they asked me to call back was 555 1234567... Dead giveaway.
The caller claimed to represent a financial services company. However, the pauses in their responses felt unusually long, suggesting it might be an automated call. When I dialed the number back, I found it was nonexistent.
I received seven consecutive calls from this number. Each time it was an automated AI voice message trying to persuade me to invest in AI through a company called Apex Marketing Services, which raises red flags for me.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
