I received a call from someone claiming to be from Telstra, who offered a 50% discount for six months based on my status as a long-term customer. They asked for my name and date of birth to send me a pin code to my mobile. However, I've received two missed calls from this number today, and since I'm under contract with Telstra for another two years, I believe this is likely a scam.
This number calls me several times each week consistently. They do not leave any voicemail messages, which is puzzling since I am not waiting for many calls on my landline. I spoke to someone from Meta in 2022, and it seems they may have gotten my number from that interaction, as they keep calling. However, since they never leave a message, it likely isn't urgent.
This number called me very late at 2 AM. It seemed highly suspicious and I believe it to be a scam for sure.
The number belongs to Meta Marketing Pro, which is a support service for Meta products like Instagram and Facebook. They are reaching out to individuals running ads on their platforms to offer assistance in enhancing their advertising performance.
This number called me four times in a row and then left a voicemail. The voicemail mentioned being from "Meta Marketing Pro," which appears to be part of their offshore team. If you are an advertiser, I recommend not bothering to answer this call.
I received multiple calls from this number, and when I attempted to return the call, I only heard an automated voicemail that was confusing and nonsensical. It seems like a scammy or spoofed number.
Scammer.
Facebook/Meta marketing sales person based in Sydney, wanting you to spend more money on advertising with them.
The caller requested to speak with a member of our Marketing Team, which suggests they could be cold callers trying to sell something.
I answered a call where a real person repeatedly said "hello." They seemed to be targeting the Chinese community in Australia for scam purposes.
Scam - called twice and left a voicemail that was literally just playing weird music, no talking.
This is a scam call. They called me twice and left a voicemail that consisted only of strange, nonsensical music, with no intelligible message or information.
Autodialler so likely a scam caller.
I answered a call that delivered an automated message, but it didn't make any sense at all.
