I have been receiving repeated calls from this person, but they are using different phone numbers each time. Despite my attempts to block them and clearly stating that I do not wish to receive any more calls, they continue to call back.
Scam.
This number called my place of business. He asked to speak about our electricity. My first response was "No, thank you, we are not interested" and I hung up. He called back and asked why I hung up? I said "we are not interested in comparing plans or changing electricity providers. Do not call this number again" and I hung up. He called a 3rd time and I just hung up, he called a 4th time and I hung up. He called a 5th time and my colleague answered and was told by the man on the phone that because of my rudeness our power will be disconnected tomorrow. This is complete crap, harassment and screams scam. I hope no-one else is scammed.
Claims to be from Business Bureau. Indian lady with name Margaret. Asked questions that needed answer to be "Yes"
The caller claimed to be from the Business Bureau and identified herself as Margaret, speaking with an Indian accent. She asked questions that required me to answer "Yes."
Scam. Trying to get you to pay an electricity account but can't even tell you what property it is for.
I returned the call to this number, and it started ringing normally. However, it soon changed to a tone similar to an overseas call before going to voicemail, leading me to suspect it might be a scam or telemarketer.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
