I received a call from this number, which is similar to another number I got: (02) 3814 9641. No messages were left for either call. I have blocked both numbers.
The caller claimed they were not trying to sell me anything, but I decided to hang up and block the number anyway.
This number keeps calling me without leaving a message, and when I pick up, they immediately hang up. I believe this is a scam, so I've blocked the number.
I'm curious about how certain individuals manage to obtain such obscure phone numbers.
I received a call from this number, but there was no one on the line when I picked up. I suspect it was a scout call to gauge if I would answer, so I've decided to block the number to avoid any further contact.
Called this number back (blocked my number). Answering service message stated the were from 'your community' which is a fundraising organisation for a range of different charities. I have received several calls (15 in the last 24 hours) all different numbers, from this group asking for donations for everything from kids in DV to breast cancer. If you listen to the entire message you are given the option to stop these calls by entering your phone number. After which it states that it could take up to 72 hours for this to take effect. Hopefully it will work.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
