I received a call from a Mandarin-speaking individual who claimed that my service would be disconnected. This appears to be a scam where they impersonate a mobile carrier and attempt to obtain personal information from you.
I received a random phone call that was in what I believe was Mandarin. This number has called me numerous times, prompting me to block it due to the frequency and language barrier.
Definitely not in my contacts list and they rang after hours so I'm very suspicious it's a scam call. Didn't answer and have blocked the number.
Although I did not answer the call, I listened to a voicemail that was left. It featured a pre-recorded message stating that "your mobile phone is not being used normally. The service will be stopped today. For English service, please press 1; for Chinese service, press 2."
Scam about shipment, part in English, part in Chinese: the funny part was my phones translation of the Vmail:)
Got a call from this number, voice mail from it said my entry / exit visa had suspicious activity or something and that I should contact them to prevent committing a crime, something along those lines, I was born and raised here and have never left the country, I don’t even have a passport lol. Absolutely a scam.
Left voicemail saying “contact us now to avoid constituting a crime” but it came out mangled because they’re scamming a/holes who are using message to text for their voicemails. Didn't answer. Definitely blocking and definitely going to report as spam!
SCAM CALL. Not answered, voicemail left saying outstanding bill with Discover Energy not paid, press one. LOL not even my energy provider. Blocked. W@nkers.
Scam callers with recorded message telling me phone service was going to be cut off... Blah blah blah. Definitely not the case and definitely not cut off.
I received a voicemail in Mandarin from this number. Although my Mandarin is a bit rusty, it sounded like they were making threatening statements towards me.
Left voice mail in Chinese. Scam for sure.
I received a call from a computer-generated voice claiming that my service was going to be disconnected. I believe this call was a SCAM.
