Scam

I've received about three calls from this number, and they claim to be from Service NSW. They said they've sent emails, but I haven't seen anything. It screams scam to me!

B
Blair
Scam

The caller said that my toll rebate required extra information before it could be processed. However, a few days later, I received an official email from Service NSW confirming that my rebate had been dispatched, and the following day it was in my account. I suspect this was a scam call.

R
Riveros
Suspicious

I received a call from someone named "Deborah" who claimed to be with Services NSW. She requested that I email her documents that she should already have if she truly worked there. This seems similar to other reports I've seen, so please be careful.

L
Liske
Scam

The call seemed suspicious as it came from a number that is no longer registered. The caller requested to email some documents, which raises my concern as they should not have this access if they were truly from Service NSW.

C
Cadman
Scam

Today at 1:45 PM, I received a message from a caller with an Indian/Pakistani accent, but I could barely understand what they were saying. It seemed to be related to a "Covid claim." I did not return the call and have decided to block them, as my phone is already filled with blocked numbers from scammers.

B
Bodell
Scam

Today at 1:45 PM, I received a voicemail from a person with an Indian or Pakistani accent. I could hardly understand their message, which seemed related to a COVID claim. I chose not to return the call and plan to block the number, as I'm tired of dealing with so many scammers flooding my phone with blocked numbers.

L

They called me at 10:30 PM, which is definitely not typical for Service NSW. It's hard to get them to operate in normal hours, let alone call at such late hours!

G

Suspicious

I contacted Service NSW for verification of this phone number, but they could not confirm its legitimacy. It appeared to be genuine, yet I am wary of potential hackers who might have compromised their systems to obtain personal information. It's best to avoid answering such calls.

H

I have received reports suggesting this number is a scam, but I want to clarify that it belongs to Service NSW. They have previously assisted me with my application for the Energy Rebate. It seems some people might be overly cautious or misunderstanding the legitimacy of this service.

T

Suspicious

A female caller claimed to be from Service NSW and asked about my Covid Business application form, stating that there were additional questions I needed to answer. I asked her to send me any information via email instead of discussing sensitive matters over the phone. I suggest being cautious and hanging up if you receive a similar call.

C

The caller did not appear to be genuine at all. When I asked for additional information to verify their claims, they abruptly hung up on me. This raised serious red flags about their legitimacy.

This phone call seemed legitimate at first, but I suspect it’s a scam because it appears that they have gained unauthorized access to Service NSW's Salesforce system.

S

Suspicious

Initially, I didn’t think this was a spam call. They provided me with information about my business, such as the address and business activity statement for the year. However, upon checking the official email from Service NSW, I discovered they never request personal information in this manner. Should I file a report with the police?

G

Suspicious

I received a communication from this number claiming to be from Services NSW, but there is no office located in Bowral. The email response I received was not acknowledged. The original voicemail had a foreign accent that later changed to a local accent and sounded scripted. Interestingly, the email was signed with a name in lowercase and lacked any official title or department. A search of the email address did not yield any results associated with Services NSW.

G

I called Service NSW regarding this number; they were unable to confirm its legitimacy and oddly advised me to reply to an email associated with the number. When I called back, I was met with outdated Covid messaging from Service NSW, which seems very strange and raises suspicions.

They are not professional service nsw staff, they are 100% scammers asking my address to verify me which I didn't give them thank god, I asked them to email me again if you have my email then I will verify its you and I will reply to that, but I did not receive any email later,, they hang up. They have diverted this number to service nsw support number and so this will make us think its real, but its not.

I rang service nsw but they have no information regarding my application or old application.

DOn't GIVE INFORMATION, call real support number and give them your details not to any new number.
