This is a scam, I received a call after my credit card application to westpac. I called westpac on a legitimate number and told them, and they confirmed they would not call asking for personal details and that my application was still being processed.

This morning I received a phone call (on a private number - no caller ID) from an Indian woman purporting to be calling from Westpac about application 7195222284. She immediately requested I answer security questions before she could proceed with the call.
I did not provide any information.
I then received a text message from WBC_Apps requesting me to return call on 1300 366 867 which does not appear to be on the Westpac website. About 10 minutes later I received an email asking me to call the same number. Total phishing scam.
Pretty sure this is a scam - you don't get the person calling you asking you for personal information and then how many bank accounts you have with the bank!
Spam, received it for my credit car application, do not trust it.
