Scam number pretending to be ING bank.
Queensland here. Yup. Just like everyone. SMS received about an hour ago with a security code to authorise a payment for BET RIGHT but to contact ING immediately on (this phone number) if the code was not requested. If one isn't paying attention, it is easy to tap the link to call the number because naturally one did not authorise a payment. Be careful please! I have reported the number on ScamWatch and blocked on my phone. Jerks work hard to scam everyone! Stay vigilant!
Yep this is a scam, received this text in Melbourne 23/2/25.
I don't have an ING or BET RIGHT account. Scam - be careful.
SCAM!!
Pretending to be ING, asked to call to confirm payment I did not make.
Definitely a scan number posing as ING. Sending sms regarding security code to authorise payment but I have no ING account and I don’t use BET RIGHT or any online gambling.
They'll ask to confirm a payment; it's a scam don't do it.
ING spam email. Do not call.
I suspect this might be a scam. I received a text message that instructed me to call ING, but the number provided is not one that I recognize as belonging to ING Bank.
I received a fraudulent SMS message that instructed me to call this phone number.
This call urged me to return the call if any of the information was incorrect, but I never received any previous information from them.
