I was called too and background noises can be caused using an app. Or many other ways. Even the slang, e.g. USA or Indian accent, etc. Claiming to call from a Server Provider like Telstra especially. Well as one person here said a female, then it must be Ms Muriel Clarke as she uses the same number. And address.

Received call from this number. Nobody spoke, and then a recorded female voice said thanks for you call. When I called the number back it went to Telstra 101 message bank but didn't give option to leave message as mailbox was full. Sounds like a scam in the making to me.
