Total scam alert! The call was obviously from overseas. They asked for some name I’ve never heard of, and when I said I didn’t know who it was, they just kept pestering me to chat anyway.
This caller did not answer my phone when they initially contacted me. They later returned my call and, shockingly, addressed me by name but abruptly disconnected the call afterward. This behavior is concerning and suggests possible scam activity.
My phone categorized this call as a fraud attempt, marked it as a scam, and automatically blocked the number to prevent further contact.
The caller claimed to be from an electrical company based in Hindmarsh, stating that they were performing work in my area.
