An Indian caller contacted me, claiming that $1399 had been charged to my credit card and instructed me to press 1 to report it as fraud. I humorously replied with a vulgar insult and put them on hold for 4 minutes. It was one of the most entertaining interactions I've had in weeks, but clearly a scam.

I did not answer the call or listen to the voicemail. The call from (08) 6786 7580, which I received 20 minutes ago, was similar to an earlier call regarding an Amazon account that I do not have.
