This numbers calls regularly and at inappropriate times despite being on the do not call register. They never leave a message and do not speak when answered. Annoyed.
I have received phone calls from this number twice in the last few days (3 days apart to be exact!).
When they ring they listen on the line for approx.20 seconds! Then they hang up.
Upon receiving the first call I rang the number back and found out it was RACQ Careflight. I explained to the operator what had happened and she apologized and assured me that it wouldn't happen again. Her excuse was that it was a computerized system and they were experiencing a glitch. She then went on to aask if I was interested in making a donation. I told her we were not able to as financially things are tight and she stated she would enter into the system to not call back till November this year.
Today!!!!!! I received another call. I rang back and explained my frustrations to the male operator. He didn't seem very interested and gave me pretty much the same spiel as the female operator three days ago!!
I asked him for a complaints number. He started to give me a number but then sudddenly got confused. He then gave me this phone number 07 5665 5800. I rang this number and it was the phone number of the team leader at the call centre of the male operator I had just spoken with. I asked to be removed from their system and he assured me that he would do that. I then asked him who was his superior and he stated 'I am the head person of complaints at RACQ Careflight'. I felt like what he said was a load of BS! My next step was to ring the contact number on their webpage. This phone number 07 5553 5999. After talking to a lady at Careflight she then transferred me through to a regional manager. The regional manager listened to my concerns and assured me she would have our phone number removed from the system and she would have the executive manager telephone me back to confirm the actions taken to resolve my complaint. Now I just play the waiting game.....
I will say this though if I receive another call then it WILL be going further than just commenting on an internet forum about the operation of careflights call centres. I will be instead writing to every newspaper and media outlet and exposing them.
Received call from 07 55121500 this morning, when I answered they hung up - most annoying :(.
Yes I have received several calls from this number. Every time I answer the phone with my business name, they cut me off. I know they hear me as I can hear noise from the background. They don't even have the courtesy so say sorry, wrong number. Shame on you RACQ Careflight. Very poor.
