I received a call claiming a $900 payment was about to be charged to my Visa card via PayPal. The automated message prompted me to press 1 to proceed with the payment or 2 to cancel it, which I strongly suspect is a scam or phishing attempt.
A caller claimed to be from Amazon and knew my name. The caller claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank Security, alleging that my account had been accessed from the USA for a transfer of $800. I found the situation amusing despite the fear tactic. This happened on May 6th, 2023, at 3 PM.

Their claims where quite disturbing and they were going to take me through the repair process, that was when I hung up.
Scam - pretended to be from National Broadband Network but his story quickly fell apart and he hung up when I challenged him.

Picked up this incoming call to hear silence on the other end. After a few seconds I hung up the call. Likely spam.
It rang for less than a second, no voicemail left so assuming they want you to call back so they can scan you. Won’t be calling back, if it’s important they’ll call again.
