Have had a number of previous scam and phishing call attempts from landlines with either (07) or (03) prefixes, and so I figured (quite correctly) that this one [(07)3073 1466] was going to be no different. I am 101% satisfied that this is just another idiot coolie, would be if they could be scammer trying their hand.
The caller claimed to be from Telstra, stating that my internet IP address changed from private to public. I suspected this was a scam because it did not come from an official source.
