What Our Users Reviewed
Claimed to be from my energy provider, said his name was Arthur. Couldn't get me name right either. I sat phone down beside me and he eventually hung up.
Just received a call from this number saying they were calling me about my AGL account and then proceeded to talk about new rates. I hung up the phone as this is the second time in only a couple of weeks I have had someone calling me pretending to be from AGL. The first time I got sucked in because they were able to access my account and send me a code to read to them via my own account. It's simple for them to do, they only need to go on to the AGL website and click on my account enter in your phone number which they already have (or email) then ask you to read out the code which will come to you in a legitimate AGL sms or email. Once you read back the code to them they have access to your account. JUST HANG UP ON THESE PEOPLE.
