What Our Users Reviewed
I just received a suspicious text message from this mobile number. Based on similar past experiences, I believe it is likely a scam.
I received a phishing scam text message that appeared to be from ING Bank. The message claimed that there had been an attempt to transfer money to someone named J HUSSAIN from my account and urged me to click on a link for more details. It’s important to note that I do not have an account with ING.
Spam message:
"A new deice has been added to your Apple Pay, for security we have restricted access please visit (the link included)"
Scam text saying the following:
"Bendigo: You've authorised a payment of '98.32 AUD' to Payee - HARRY ROSS. Do you recognise this? If you DO NOT, visit: bendigo-payee-cancel.xxx" (I changed the end bit in case someone accidentally hit it)
The caller said, "Fate brings us together here" and urged me to click on a link. As a 55-year-old, I find this highly suspicious and suspect it is a scam.
