I received a call from a gentleman named Zach Williams who claimed to be with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He did not provide any information about the purpose of the call before abruptly hanging up on me after a few seconds. The caller had an Indian accent and there was noticeable background noise suggesting it was from a call center.
The caller claimed to be from Telstra, informing me that my phone number was no longer private but had become public. I decided to hang up rather than continue the conversation, as it seemed suspicious.

I asked for the email address that was supposed to be doing this, and concerningly he listed my correct email, and that it was linked with my mobile number. These company and organisation data hacks have a lot to answer for. Caller became aggressive during call when he felt he was not being listened to.

They said that my phone has been hacked and has been used for illegal purposes and that I had to log into there website to block the hacker, after about 5 mins the female starting shouting at me calling me a liar and that she was going to disconnect my phone.100% scam.
