Received a call on my mobile just now; caller (sub-continental female by the accent) saying the call was about the Victorian Government Hat Water upgrade initiative.... Yeh, very likely seeing as the Vic G'Ment banned (supposedly) these type calls from 1 July this year. Hung up, blocked number and NOTE FYI, don't waste your time (as I've done) and try reporting this to any Government body, as they're simply not interested in following up.
The caller pretended to be providing information about the Victorian Government's hardware upgrade initiative. Since calls like these were banned as of July 1st, I am now convinced this is a scam. I have blocked the number and feel reporting this issue is futile since nothing will likely be done about it.
