Obvious scam. I didn’t answer but got a voice.
Message. Sounded like a typical recorded message when you call up for a service like call centre or medical, but the message was something like press this number for English and press this number for Chinese.
I received a scam call from this number. The voice-mail they left was saying "Your number will be disconnected in 2 hours, for English reason why press 1, for Chinese, press 2." and then repeated it in Chinese. Needless to say, blocked the number and reported as scam.
I didn’t answer. They left a prerecorded, looping message:
“This is a warning from the Immigration Department that there are irregularities in your visa. And this is the last notice to ensure your rights. For enquiries press 8. For Chinese press 9.”
I missed the call because I was working and was unable to answer it. They left a voicemail, but it was in a language I don't understand and included hold music. I’m certain this is a scam attempt.
