The caller claimed to be from Telstra and offered me a 40% discount for 7 months, but only if I clicked a link sent to their email. This raised a red flag for me.
Called and advised they were Telstra and said we were perfect customers and offered 6 months a 50% off phone bill but then sent a notice to have me click yes in emails but I said I was only getting a verification about my email access somewhere from Sydney and I clicked no as it wasn't me and they said I had to click yes but I said it was not the right notice and I didn't recieve an email from Telstra and as I searched up the phone number and found this site they had enough and hung up.
The call was disconnected after a long silence with no response.
Received a voice call with a recorded message that seemed to originate from a very busy call center, creating confusion and concern about its legitimacy.

The caller said they were from Telstra and wanted to offer me a discount. I believe they are organized scammers since they already had some of my personal details. I have received several missed calls from this group of numbers, which I suspect are all scams.

The caller pretended to be from Telstra and initially sounded convincing, claiming to appreciate my business. However, when they asked me to verify my email by clicking 'yes,' I became suspicious and clicked 'no.' They got aggressive when I mentioned I had yet to receive an email from them, continuing to pressure me to click 'yes.' I believe this was an attempt to gain access to my email account.
I received a call from a scammer who had an accent, claiming to represent the NBN (National Broadband Network). He mentioned that they would be walking around in my area and asked when I last used my internet at home. I replied that I was unsure, and he abruptly hung up the phone. A very peculiar and suspicious interaction!
