This call was from debt collectors who seemed unprofessional and unable to find better employment. I’m glad I didn't confirm any personal details with them.
Just had a call from this number 0485 930 969, there was music for about 3 seconds then it just hang up.
No message left. Another scammer, another number blocked.
The caller did not leave any message, which usually indicates that this is just another scam call. I have blocked the number.
Answered and wanted to verify my name I asked who was calling - said they were a company from Brisbane wanting to speak to (name) I said no it’s not me and they asked if this number could have been connected to that persons name.
I said I don’t know.

Called me several times over the last week, will not leave a message or reply to a text asking who they are.
I suspect it's Panthera Finance harrasing me again over a false debt given to them from when my identity was stolen 8 years ago. They won't accept my proof of identity theft from the police, as the name they have for me on file is misspelled and are only interested in trying to con me into paying them back - which I obviously refuse to do so.
I received a call from a person, either a lady or a man, who was looking for someone. They mentioned they were from a business in Queensland but refused to clarify who was calling when I inquired further.
I answered the phone and was initially put on hold with music, but then a very rude individual asked me to confirm my identity as if I were someone random. It felt unprofessional and suspicious.
A woman called and stated she was from a company located in Brisbane, but she refused to provide any details about the purpose of her call.
It was a scam number; they asked to speak to me by my name. When I asked who was calling, they claimed it was privacy. They could not advise who was calling until I revealed my name. What also gave them away was that they had a foreign accent. Their number was 0485 930 969.
