What Our Users Reviewed
The caller was trying to sell health insurance or a similar type of service. It seemed like a typical sales pitch.
Number called claiming to be Microsoft saying that my ip address has changed from private to public and wanted to talk me through how to fix it. Also said I had to go into their office in north Sydney (couldn’t give me a real address) to fix it. Became aggressive and abusive when I started to question what he was suggesting. I obviously wasn’t sticking to his script!!
Just block it.
This number calls me at least once a day but never leaves a voicemail message. It's quite persistent and annoying.
This call seemed suspicious. When I answered, the caller hung up, and when I tried to call back, the line connected immediately without ringing. The caller knew my name and mentioned that they have me down as the owner of something, which is confusing since I have never provided that information to anyone.
This number has called me every day for the last three days, yet I have not received any voicemails from them. Their repeated attempts are concerning since I do not recognize the number.
This number calls me repeatedly but never leaves a message. I answered once, and the caller hung up immediately, which felt very odd.
I've been repeatedly contacted by a female caller with an Australian accent. Although there were no clear indicators of a scam, I informed her during the first call about a week ago that I was busy and not interested in her offer. She claimed to have received my number from a lifestyle survey that I do not recall participating in. Since then, she has called persistently without leaving any messages.
Has called me three times on three separate occasions but never leaves any messages. Sounds dodgy.
The same number called me 2 days in a row around the same time 4 pm. Both times I did not answer due to this thread.
We had two calls to two separate numbers. The ONLY connection for these is Medibank.
Did not identify himself or company he worked for. Just wanted to check name and number. Suspicious and concerning.?Scam.
I called back and they referred to me by my old married name that I haven't used in years. I hung up because any important organisation wouldn't use that name. Perhaps telemarketing calls from old data?
Dodgy number. Don’t answer.
Dodgy - don’t answer.
