I received a call from someone introducing themselves as calling from Levitate, but I was confused because I had no recollection of speaking to them before about any services related to earning extra income. I said I wasn't interested and promptly hung up and blocked the number.

I answered this call and could not hear anyone on the line, but there was background noise typical of a call center. This number has called me twice in a few days, and since it is unfamiliar, I believe it to be a scam or nuisance call.

I received another call from the company called Levitate, but they only wanted to speak with my wife, who was not at home at the time. They ended up hanging up on me, and I have since blocked the number.

My personal advice to anyone who gets cold calls is to keep a whistle by your phone. When you realize it’s a spam call, blow the whistle loudly – it might make them think twice before calling again!

Ok rec this call today and did not answer as a friend was in a car accident and on the phone, number now block. Thanks for everyone's review's, my question is if this number has been active for over 10 months, why is it still active and what is being done about it. Friends and I got calls from 0485 826 220 on our separate mobiles. They hang up before anyone can answer. Why are people and organisations allowed to be given a mobile number or landline number without having to verify who they are? Identification should be compulsory before anyone can be given a Phone number or email.

I decided to block this number after reading previous reports about it. I've also noticed that scam calls typically only ring four times and then leave no message.

ReverseAU says it could possibly be Travelsim Australia, but they went into voluntary administration in July 2020, with the company being dissolved and assets sold off in August 2020.
