Same experience as everyone else. Called themselves "Information Assist." Seeking information for tax incentives from the ATO that many financial advisers and accountants aren't privy to, aware of, or allowed to discuss.
State got my mobile from the public number database.
Refuses to provide an ABN.
Refuses to provide a telephone number.
States if you call back on the displayed number it won't be answered as they are an outbound call only business.
States they are located in Southport, Gold Coast.
They only thing you should give these scam-artists is a piece of your mind!
Received call from this number from person trying to sell some kind of financial product. After hanging up, person called back and left a voicemail message in which he just said my name (presumably gleaned from the voicemail recording).
I received a call from this number but as I do not answer numbers I don't know, it went to message bank, and no message was left.. I have now blocked the number..
