The caller, who had an Indian accent, claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank asking to verify my bank account details for a funds transfer. Since I don’t hold an account with them, I informed him of that, but he continued to inquire about my other bank accounts. Feeling uneasy, I decided to hang up.
This was definitely a scam call! The caller claimed to be from Amazon and was trying to confirm my bank details, which felt very suspicious.
