I reckon, like someone below who had recently installed a storm-chasing app on their phone, it could be from installing an app. I only have Facebook and Messenger apps added semi-recently.
Does anyone know if spamming can be attached to app's?
Or are they just picking random numbers from the Australian list of numbers?
I got the same Richard Swiss Finance SMS others have reported here, today at 1:50 PM. Looks like a scam of some description. Phishing or monetary most likely.
I got the Richard Swiss Finance message from this number yesterday at about 9:30pm. I ALSO got the depression kills message however it was from 0432765153 and was at 5:49 this morning. The only new thing on my phone or that I've given my phone number to is Higgins Storm Chasing's app. I'm in Australia.
