This is an Uber scam - block the number - never respond!
I got several text messages today from this number saying here is your uber code. I was not using Uber today and this is not the number that Uber uses. I don’t know what these messages are trying to do - some sort of scam or virus no doubt.
Same as Claire several messages requesting I enter a code - scam for sure.
I got the same text. Didn't enter anything but have been getting weird emails since, after that day. One email said they were very upset with me for not responding. Has some rubbish about waiving the fee up until now. Made the dumb mistake after many emails of looking at one and hitting 'unsubscribed' which doesn't work cause it can't locate the server. Reported this. Unfortunately the next email I got said that I had made contact with them. Have sent copies to the appropriate authorities!
I got an SMS from this number with the same details as above from Claire. It will be another monthly subscription scam.
Received a text saying "your registration is almost complete enter this code to begin riding 0932" and the number was underlined and in blue so I assume if you click it, it will take you to a link. Didn't try as I did not want a virus.
