Yep, I had a call earlier from 0410 226 550 asking me to sponsor an Australian Police Officers supporting UN work. Asking id my company would sponsor a magazine that is sent out to all police officers. I said I would, then received an email to confirm. Upon thinking about it I decided that the audience was not my target market so could not help. That was 4 days ago. And today I just recieved two calls right after each other from the other numbers 0434 569 358, and 0412 101 002.
This is a Scam. Do not attempt to answer it or give any information. If you own a website, and have a number displayed on it for contact reasons, this is where they have obtained the information.
The number is being tracked for financial fraud purposes.
This is a scam, asking for money for a supposed "Police Charity". They are using a lot of different mobile numbers. They just want your credit card number. When you ring back, you get a recordeed message saying that it's only an outgoing number. Don't give your credit card details to anyone you don't know.
Someone claiming to be from the Police department asking for money for a charity called Street Smart for underprivileged kids. I asked where they had got my number from they said 'they had a database' I asked them where their database got my number from he said he didn't know.
I told him I wasn't interested in taking calls like this and to take my number off the database, he replied "I'm sorry you're obviously a very important person aren't you".
What a jerk and con artist. Tell them where to go!

This in an outbound call number only - is the message when trying to call it back. Painful as they keep calling. Don't answer and block the phone number.
Received a call that didn't leave a message and when I tried to call it back was a female voice saying "Thanks for your call this is an outbound number only".
