I received a potential scam/phishing SMS message saying: "Delivery problems: We apologize, we’ll fix it as soon as possible." It contained a suspicious link (which I have removed for safety).
I received a text message claiming to be from Australia Post that included a link containing a virus. This seems serious enough that Australia Post should report it to the Federal Police for further investigation and possible arrests.
I received a suspicious text message saying, "Tracking info added to your order," which contained a scam link. I do not have any orders on their way, and any legitimate information would not come through an anonymous text message. It's obviously a scam.
I encountered scammers who claimed, "It’s not you, someone is impersonating you." Another individual warned that this call might be linked to a virus.
I've been receiving numerous calls daily (about 5 or 6) with messages about package tracking, labeled as Flubot. I'm tired of these, and I'm hoping providers like Optus can do something about it!
