I received a recorded message from this number informing me that $99 would be debited from my account for Amazon services, which I did not authorize.
I received a recorded message asking about two charges on my Visa account. The caller had an American accent, which made it seem potentially illegitimate.
I received an automated call that was unclear, but it might have claimed to be from Amazon Prime, stating that my subscription was about to expire and I needed to update my payment method. They prompted me to press 1 for further instructions.
The caller claimed to be from Amazon Prime and discussed a debit to my bank account if I wanted to continue using the service. This raised my suspicions about its legitimacy.
I received a robocall that stated it was about unauthorized VISA transactions of amounts $300 and $1300. It instructed me to press 1 to speak to an operator, but there was extremely loud, abusive yelling in the background, which made the call unsettling. I chose to hang up.
