I got an SMS from this number 0428 197 854 asking for my email address.
They claimed to be my vehicle insurance saying they were having trouble sending emails. But am getting emails from my vehicle insurer.
So I checked the number on reverse australia, and found out it was not my insurer. So I have now blocked their number.

I received a suspicious SMS at 4:32 PM that read, "Hello [my real name], your security code is [a 4-digit number]." This raised red flags for me, and I was confused about what security they were referring to. When I searched the number on Truecaller, I found indications that this is a scam as the app reminded me of scams related to this number.
I got a text message from this number that included my name and a 4-digit security code, but I have no idea what it's for. I'm certain it's a scam, so I've deleted the message, blocked the number, and reported it to Scam Watch.
Received a text to say I have outstanding money owing on a loan. I don't have any loans.
Assume it is a scam as I got a message saying this was the second text they tried to contact me regarding money left behind by a relation of mine. I highly doubt that.
There was an email address to make contact and a name.
I googled both and the email address comes up with multiple complaints with different numbers.
