+61 427 784 267 received SMS say Tesla has assigned car to my order, provide link to pay $110K.
Im in Cairns, not dealt with any real person except a guy called Zanda who phoned from a mobile the week after my online order in February.
No way to confirm or verify anything Tesla says,
Every Tesla made and BEING made has unique identifiers, but these guys say I don’t get that till I pay $110K.
The only REAL thing is the Tesla Charger that I paid for, $800 delivered a few weeks later. But these guys with the car order cannot tell me about “The Shop” …. “oh no, that’s the Tesla Shop” …. Like in Melbourne (?) “… you’ll have to ask them about it”
Just a very very VERY unnerving way to buy a car.
