+61 423 762 419 Here’s a copy of the exact text message I received: ParceI-AU9504……. - ParceI is waiting! Track: bit.ly/au950.

I received a text from this number telling me that a parcel is waiting for me. I get a lot of parcels but I usually get confirmation emails from the senders and can track them on my AustPost mobile app. It’s not from that number or written in the same way so I suspect it’s a scam. I manually added it in my app and it came up telling me that the article number is either incorrect or not in the system yet. It’s the second one like this I’ve received. I reported the last one to Australia Post Scams so I’ll do the same with this one. It also came up on my UNKNOWN contacts category of messages. I receive regular updates from Australia Post regarding genuine delivery information and it’s usually worded differently.
